Job Opportunity: Support Individuals with Disabilities

As a Disability Support Worker, you will have the rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Your role will involve providing support and assistance to clients in their homes and helping them access community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients\
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores\
  • Help clients access community settings such as shopping centers, parks, and recreational facilities\
  • Support clients with their goals and aspirations\
  • Collaborate with other professionals such as healthcare workers and social workers to ensure client needs are met\\[li>Document client progress and maintain accurate records\\[li>Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict boundaries when working with clients\\[li>Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge\\[/ul>\

Requirements:

  • \
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support/Disability or equivalent qualification\
  • Current Police Check (within 6 months)\
  • Reliable vehicle and comprehensive insurance\
  • Valid Australian Driver's License\
  • Working with Children Check or Workers Screening Check Clearance\
  • Two Professional Referees\
  • KM' included\
  • Above rates\
  • Start Immediately\
  • Shift work, including days and evenings\
