We are seeking a Semi-Government Debt Specialist to join our team at Queensland Treasury Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for providing timely coverage of state government budgets and developments impacting credit profiles.
You will analyze the semi-government credit environment and outlook to inform QTC's Funding and Investor Relations strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to offer state rating-related advice to stakeholders as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver proactive research on economic, market, and regulatory developments impacting credit risk.
- Analyze the semi-government credit environment and outlook to inform QTC's Funding and Investor Relations strategy.
- Offer expert advice on credit risk management and mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, accounting, economics, econometrics, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years' experience as a strategist or in a credit, financial, or fiscal analyst role.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and analytical skills, including understanding financial statements, ratios, and risk assessment.
