Job Opportunity for Personal Care Workers

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated personal care worker to join our aged care facility located on the Sunshine Coast.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly residents by providing high-quality, person-centered care in a supportive and professional environment.

No sponsorship is available for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents with daily living tasks such as hygiene, mobility, and meals.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in aged care or a similar role (preferably but not essential).
  • Up-to-date National Police Check - or a willingness to obtain.
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccinations (as per government guidelines).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a small, fully accredited facility with a close-knit team of staff. Permanent part-time positions are available with the option to pick up extra shifts. A salary of $26-$28 per hour + super is offered.
