Tantula Rise is a 120-bed Residential Aged Care Home located in Alexandra Headland on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.

The Role

As a Personal Care Worker in Aged Care, you will provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities centered around their wellbeing, independence, interests, and choices. These include:

  • Assistance with residence mobility needs, including manual handling.
  • Assistance at mealtimes as required by the resident, such as food and drink preparation and feeding if necessary.
  • Encouraging engagement in various social activities.
  • Assistance with personal care needs, maintaining hygiene, toileting, dressing, grooming, and oral care.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
  • Experience in aged care roles highly regarded.
  • Understanding of person-centred care.
  • Strong, clear verbal and written English skills.
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Willingness to take direction and follow instructions/compliance.
  • A confident, friendly, and professional approach to team and residents.
Compliance Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or similar with relevant aged care units completed.
  • Valid working rights in Australia (e.g., Passport, Birth Certificate).
  • Willingness to complete a police check.
  • Current 2025 Flu Vaccination or willingness to obtain.
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum of 1 dose).
