
Repair Operations Specialist

Role Overview
As a hands-on repair professional, you will be working in a workshop environment repairing power tools. Your primary focus will be on analyzing and conducting final functional and safety testing to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
You will operate within a well-equipped workshop with all necessary tools and resources to safely and efficiently repair our power tools. As part of a collaborative team, you will work on a range of products, focusing on delivering same day targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- To carry out service, repair and calibration of power tools and equipment from cordless devices to diamond wall saws and concrete x-ray scanning tools
- To follow established repair standards while utilizing the latest equipment to analyze, test and calibrate our products
- To perform all repair work with a balanced approach towards quality, cost and time efficiency
- To actively contribute to Quality improvement processes within our Aftermarket Services department
- To regularly participate in Continuous Improvement Processes
- To take ownership and responsibility for maintaining workshop areas and hand tools
- Ongoing training to learn new products and processes
- To ensure adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety procedures at all times
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in maintaining and repairing electric tools or similar skill base
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly, taking on new challenges
- Capacity to work effectively in a dynamic environment, executing multiple tasks on time to meet operational deadlines
- Prior experience in electrical or mechanical fields is advantageous
- A relevant electrical or mechanical license is also desirable
- Comfortable using computer software, such as Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Excel, and SAP (though coaching can be provided)
