Cancer Research Coordinator Position

Our organization seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Cancer Services Clinical Trials Unit as a Coordinator. This role is responsible for managing various aspects of cancer research, including trial registries, data management, and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently while contributing to a dynamic team environment.

To be successful in this position, you must have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Science, Health Information Management, or Clinical Trial
  • An understanding of medical terminology
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects with strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Personal confidence and initiative to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences

Desirable experience includes:

  • Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office software, including Teams, Sharepoint, Word, Access, Excel, and Outlook
  • Understanding of key concepts related to oncology and/or haematology
  • Experience in managing trial registries and databases
