About the Role:

The WeBuild team is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Snowy 2.0 project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the construction of this major infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and monitor all material requirements, received or delivered on site, to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct surveillance on construction activities to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Prepare and monitor quality information tools to manage outstanding QC activities related to materials.
  • Ensure compliance of all relevant permanent supplies and accompanying documentation.
  • Monitor and manage required tests (results, frequencies) according to applicable standards and employer's requirements.
  • Review quality test results reports for activities carried out.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications or related discipline, such as a degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • White Card.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in the construction industry in a similar role.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects or other suitable projects.
  • Good understanding of Quality Specification (Q6) and ISO AS/NZS 9001 requirements.
  • Sound experience and knowledge of construction materials and related specifications.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and any EMDS.
