Our organization is seeking a skilled mechanical technician to fill a full-time maintenance position.
Main Responsibilities:- Perform routine repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and stackers.
- Work on shutdowns and general maintenance tasks.
- Carry out repair work aligned to established schedules.
- Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with industry guidelines.
- Hold trade qualifications in Engineering Mechanical (Cert III) or equivalent experience as a Fitter & Turner or Plant Mechanic with hydraulic background.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Have experience with fitting applications on fixed and mobile plant equipment.
- Fault finding and experience with fixed plant and quarry equipment are desirable.
- Show flexibility to work overtime hours and weekends as required.
- Demonstrate ability to multitask and prioritize workloads effectively.
- Display a team player attitude to support other areas when needed.
