Technical Support Specialist

Airframe components require periodic maintenance to ensure optimal performance. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to aircraft wheels and brakes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and analyze technical reports from airlines and maintenance shops.
  • Provide training on maintenance procedures to airline and shop personnel.
  • Support Customer Support Engineering teams with front-line support.
  • Compile and report component reliability data.
  • Resolve warranty claims and issue scrap certificates as needed.
  • Conduct audits of consignment stock at customer sites.
  • Work closely with Regional Business Managers and Airline Sales teams.
  • Organize senior management visits to the regions as required.
  • Be the local expert for B787 EMBS test equipment.
  • Assist with landing gear field service and structural interventions.
  • Provide engineering support to Landing Systems service centers.
  • Offer temporary onsite support to Landing Systems Field Service worldwide as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience in aerospace maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
