Key Role in Learning Program Design

The Learning and Development Manager plays a pivotal role in creating and delivering impactful learning programs that drive growth, enhance performance, and support our global learning strategy.

This leadership position involves collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to identify development needs and implement tailored learning solutions that align with business objectives.

  • Design and deliver learning initiatives across the region, encompassing induction, leadership development, mentorship, and professional growth programs.
  • Align local training needs with our global L&D strategy, ensuring a cohesive approach to employee development.
  • Partner with the wider P&C team on performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning, driving strategic workforce decisions.
  • Manage and evolve our Learning Management System (Litmos), optimizing the platform for compliance and development pathways.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to foster a strong learning culture, both face-to-face and virtually, promoting employee engagement and knowledge sharing.
  • Utilize psychometric assessment tools to inform team and individual development strategies, enhancing overall performance and productivity.
  • Effectively manage L&D budgets and resources to maximize value and impact, supporting business growth and success.
Requirements

A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and ideally a degree in L&D, OD, or a related field are essential qualifications.

5+ years of experience developing and delivering high-impact learning programs in a corporate setting, with a proven track record of success.

Excellent facilitation and instructional design skills, with confidence in delivering in-person and online sessions.

A strategic mindset with the ability to link development activities to business outcomes, driving organizational performance and growth.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with a natural ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience managing a Learning Management System, preferably Litmos, is highly desirable.
