Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Operations.

This role will involve leading and managing ongoing regulatory operations in a functional team and/or providing authoritative and strategic advice on environmental science, environmental and safety risk management, management systems, operations, safety (including structural, process and corrosion safety, and human factors), well integrity and well operations, decommissioning and carbon capture and storage.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a regulatory environment and/or major hazard industry, with experience in offshore safety and environmental management.

About the Role

  • Lead and manage ongoing regulatory operations in a functional team
  • Provide authoritative and strategic advice on environmental science, environmental and safety risk management, management systems, operations, safety, well integrity and well operations, decommissioning and carbon capture and storage
  • Work with the relevant Executive Director and/or Deputy CEO to plan, secure, retain and allocate resources
  • Continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency, working collaboratively within and across divisions to support initiatives
  • Maintain oversight of the use of regulatory powers
