About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at Powerlink. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the contractual aspects of our CopperString 2032 project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a dedicated contracts administration team in the management of head- and subcontracts for the CopperString 2032 project.
  • Ensure that Powerlink's rights and obligations are maintained, contractual commitments are upheld, and risks are minimised.
  • Manage the deliverables of the head Contractor, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and deliverables across the entire project.
  • Educate the project delivery team on relevant contractual conditions to ensure commercial implications are managed appropriately.
  • Manage correspondence regarding contracts management and ensure compliance with agreed standards, practices, and systems.
Requirements
  • Degree-level qualifications in Business, Law, Commerce, Procurement, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Significant experience in contract management within the construction or infrastructure industry, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent understanding of interpreting and applying contractual terms and conditions in project delivery, including contract law, contracts standards, and regulations.
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional organisational and analytical abilities, with keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
