Quality and Risk Governance Specialist

This strategic role is responsible for leading hospital teams to ensure compliance with patient safety, clinical quality frameworks, and legislative reporting requirements.

The Quality and Risk Governance Specialist will provide operational leadership to the Hospital teams to achieve governance objectives.

  • High level of skill and knowledge in all aspects of hospital governance required.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) necessary.
  • Experience in undertaking root cause analysis investigations is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in operational and strategic leadership within a hospital environment.

Key requirements include:

  • National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months mandatory.
  • According to the role, a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases may be required.

The successful candidate will possess experience and expertise in quality and patient safety roles, demonstrate understanding of quality improvement frameworks, and exhibit a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft office suite are also required.
