Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Manager to fill a critical leadership role within our IT team.

About the Role:

This key position requires strong technical skills and leadership abilities to manage the day-to-day activities of the IT support team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the IT support team to ensure seamless issue resolution and optimal service delivery
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of IT services and drive continuous improvement
  • Implement and manage IT asset management systems (CMDB, software and hardware) for streamlined operations
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Prepare and present reports on IT performance to senior executives

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • ITIL certification in service management
  • Minimum 5 years experience in IT management or application support
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strategic relationships
