Procurement Manager for Global Engineering Projects

We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our global engineering team at Lycopodium Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing, expediting, and logistics for various engineering projects, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to secure optimal prices and deliveries.

Job Summary:

As a Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of engineering projects. Your primary responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and monitoring the procurement process, as well as reporting progress and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement plans, coordinating with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and delivery terms to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Logistics and Expediting: Coordinate the transportation and delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring timely arrival and compliance with project schedules.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with project requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 6+ years of experience: In procurement, expediting, and/or logistics, ideally within the engineering or construction industries.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate prices and delivery terms with suppliers.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Benefits:

Lycopodium Limited offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including:
