Job Description

At Turner & Townsend Plc., we deliver better outcomes for our clients, helping them achieve their goals through expert project management. As a Senior Cost Manager, you will lead complex projects and work closely with the local Super Government sector in Sydney.

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to manage key education infrastructure projects, leveraging their knowledge of T-Reign and EFSG design guidelines.
  • The successful candidate will navigate complex governance frameworks, gateway approval processes, and stringent reporting cycles to ensure timely delivery of cost management reports.
  • This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively communicate potential risks or opportunities with clients and manage their expectations through regular updates.
  • You will contribute to the overall improvement of our service offering for the GovernmentSuper Sector by applying commercial acumen and supporting clients through the decision-making process.
  • A strong commission management background is essential, along with experience administering T&T contracts with due diligence and rigour.
  • You will take lead on assigned projects, working independently and taking responsibility for deliverables and services.
  • As a leader, you will manage a team of 3-4 (cost managers, graduates, and cadets) including commissions delivery, performance reviews, training, and utilisation tracking.
  • You will drive profitability, invoicing, and commercial performance for projects, integrating with the full cost management team in NSW and ACT when required.
  • This role demands independent work and accountability for deliverables, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • You will also play an active role in enhancing our benchmarking/Hive capabilities and support education leads with sector reports and deliverables.
