Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

This role involves working on aircraft maintenance activities in support of crew leaders, certifying staff, and other maintenance engineers.

You will participate in the relevant training agreement and plan to progress and achieve attainment of competencies required for the Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics or Structures).

  • Assist with weekly hangar clean-up and audits as directed by the relevant crew leader.
  • Perform maintenance activities in support of crew leader, certifying staff and AME.
  • Assist production and support staff with base maintenance activities either directly or indirectly.
  • Audit tools; FOD and aeronautical product control IAW approved work instructions.
  • Ensure that all activities undertaken fall within the relevant MOE for the assigned program and CASA or DASA regulations.
  • Source consumables; approved data; tools and coordinate with relevant trades for component and storage maintenance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Completion of theory component of the Cert IV in Aeroskills.
  • Awareness of CASA and DASA regulatory environment and framework.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Passion and eagerness to work within the aviation industry.
  • Ability to obtain ASIC / DCAC / NV1.
