The Opportunity

We are seeking an established and entrepreneurial executive leader with a demonstrated commitment to early learning and childcare outcomes. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide strategic leadership and vision for the company, driving the overall success and sustainability of the organisation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a clear and compelling strategy for Mayfield Childcare, partnering closely with the Board of Directors to define strategic goals and identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality service delivery across all centres, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Foster a positive organisational culture that aligns with the values of Mayfield Childcare, emphasising collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • As the face of Mayfield Childcare, represent the organisation in engaging investors, government agencies, industry associations, and the broader community.
  • Lead the company's investor relations strategy, ensuring clear and consistent communication with shareholders and potential investors.

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate significant experience (10+ years) in a senior leadership role ideally within the childcare, education, or related human services sectors. They will have a proven track record in managing complex operations and ensuring high standards of service delivery. Strong people leadership skills are essential, bringing strengths in supporting geographically dispersed teams through significant change.
