Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Management: Manage stock control and rotation to minimize waste and ensure efficient inventory management, maintaining a well-organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaboration and Planning: Collaborate with other sections to plan and deliver events and menus, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Supply Chain Management: Source and manage stock orders to meet customer demands, maintaining a strong relationship with suppliers and optimizing procurement processes.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to maintain high food safety standards, preventing contamination and spoilage in the kitchen.
  • Temperature and Storage Management: Manage food temperatures and storage to prevent contamination and spoilage, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
Requirements
  • Certificate or Diploma: Hold a certificate or diploma in commercial cookery, demonstrating expertise in culinary arts.
