Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our National Transport team in Adelaide, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work on a range of civil infrastructure projects, including road, highway, and rail projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Develop and apply your technical expertise on a range of projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
  • Project Support: Support Project Leaders and Project Directors in the delivery of large infrastructure projects.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of nominally 2-5 people in the delivery of routine projects with a single client and some subconsultant input.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with other disciplines to ensure project coordination.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team, fostering their technical growth and staying abreast of the latest advancements in design and construction technologies.

  • A passionate and proactive team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A technical problem-solver with demonstrated experience in a range of civil and transport projects.
  • Enthusiastic about working in multi-disciplinary teams in a national team format.

  • Experience in project management, including management of a small team.
  • Experience in client-facing roles.
  • Recent experience delivering projects for the SA Department for Infrastructure & Transport.
  • Experience in the design and documentation of Rail projects.
