Senior Leadership Role - Regulatory Operations and Strategic Regulation
NOPSEMA is seeking an experienced industry professional to lead functional teams in ensuring legislative requirements are met regarding safety and health, well integrity, structural integrity, and environmental matters.
About the Role
- Manage technical experts to ensure compliance with safety and health, well integrity, structural integrity, and environmental regulations.
- Lead regulatory operations, provide strategic advice on risk management, management systems, operations, safety, well integrity, and decommissioning.
- Work collaboratively across divisions to support initiatives and improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Maintain oversight of the use of regulatory powers.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a regulatory environment and/or major hazard industry.
- Extensive experience in offshore safety and environmental management.
