About the Role:
">- ##### Key Responsibilities #####">Effective utilisation of personnel and equipment to meet production plans and targets.Coordinate work-crew responsibilities ensuring employees are aware of changes and are competent to carry out tasks.Ensure all employees understand and comply with Health, Safety and Environmental working procedures.Provide technical advice/ expertise on Drill and Blast operations and deliver training and guidance to personnel as required.Carry out blast notifications and clearances.Monitor shift performance to ensure drill and blast targets are met and take appropriate action to maintain targets.Report any significant deviation from the drilling and blasting plans to the Project Manager in writing on the shift report.Ensure the transport of blasting materials is in accordance with statutory regulations in a purpose designed vehicle.Carry out accident/incident investigations as required.Liaise with the Workshop Manager to plan scheduled maintenance activities.Undertake scheduled audits and inspections of magazine and facility.
About You:
