Senior Commercial Insurance Risk Consultant

As a seasoned risk management professional, you will be responsible for conducting on-site surveys and providing comprehensive risk evaluation reports to commercial insurance clients. These reports contain critical information necessary to underwrite commercial insurance policies and may include recommendations to mitigate potential loss-producing conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site surveys and provide detailed risk evaluation reports to commercial insurance clients.
  • Manage assignments effectively, successfully secure client appointments within a local territory, and complete work assignments on time.
  • Work on special projects or conduct more challenging risk evaluation surveys that utilize your expertise and professional certifications.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with a major insurance carrier and/or national broker in commercial Property & Casualty Risk Control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in computer software.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related physical science is preferred.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations are preferred but not required.
Tools and Equipment:
  • Windows-based PC with image scanner and digital camera.
  • High-speed internet access and reliable vehicle.
  • Measuring device such as laser, 100 ft. tape, or measuring wheel.
