Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the performance of various diagnostic imaging procedures.

This role requires strong technical skills, effective communication, and excellent patient management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound equipment.
  2. Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  3. Operate computerized radiation therapy systems to deliver accurate and precise doses of radiation to patients.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, examination results, and treatment plans.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination of services.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging Technology or equivalent.
  • Current AHPRA registration and NSW radiation license.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in CT, with mammography experience highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of WHS practices and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
