Accounting Opportunity in Strata Management

Are you an experienced accountant seeking a dynamic role that combines financial operations with compliance and excellence in property management?

We're looking for a dedicated Strata Accountant to manage the financial affairs of multiple owners corporations.

As our Strata Accountant, you'll work closely with senior management in a collaborative environment, managing the complete financial lifecycle for multiple owners corporations.

This includes day-to-day bookkeeping, annual compliance requirements, and operating and reconciling bank accounts with precision.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and maintain comprehensive books
  • Process invoices and manage payments for all owners corporations
  • Issue fee notices and manage collections from owners in arrears
  • Prepare and lodge BAS and tax returns
  • Ensure compliance with Owners Corporations Regulations
  • Coordinate annual financial statement audits for prescribed corporations
  • Supervise and mentor Assistant Accountants
  • Provide exceptional customer service to owners and tenants
  • Handle financial enquiries with professionalism and expertise
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CA qualification highly regarded
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
  • Current Police Check (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong autonomous work capabilities
  • Proven supervisory experience
