General Fitters Wanted

We are seeking experienced General Fitters to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining diesel equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and an open-minded approach.

  • Fault finding, repairs, and services of diesel engines, fuel systems, steering systems, transmissions, brake systems, hydraulic valves and cylinders, electrical starting and charging systems, and service and diagnostic repairs
  • Liaising with the spares team to determine required parts for repairs
  • Completing repairs and services within reasonable time frames
  • Processing workshop documentation on a daily basis
  • Working in a safe manner, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided, and complying with Occupational Safety and Health legislation

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have a good technical background, and be willing to participate in the development of a growing business.
