Job Opportunity

A challenging role has emerged for an experienced professional in project freight forwarding to assume the position of Inhouse Project Logistics Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring workplace materials and documentation are maintained in accordance with safe and legal obligations, best practice standards, and company policies. They will also be responsible for implementing and executing operational policies, processes, and procedures, maintaining overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality and schedule, and providing timely updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute operational policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality and schedule.
  • Develop relationships with clients and suppliers, identifying efficiencies in the procurement process.
  • Create logistic plans and documentation.
  • Oversee documentation, reporting, and planning for projects and progress claims.
  • Reflect the vision and values of the organization.
  • Take bookings and liaise with customers when organising required transport.
  • Order tracking and follow up with job registrations.
  • Problem solve Import & Export issues with a range of stakeholders, including airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, and co-loaders.
  • Take action to help support and manage processes within the department to meet KPIs.
  • Communicate regularly and provide strong customer care while servicing customer and service provider needs.
  • Provide and contribute to project development, planning, and decision making.
  • Manage, plan, and execute project workflows.

The ideal candidate will come from a project background within freight forwarding with a solid understanding of the industry.
