Food and Beverage Service Specialist

As a Food and Beverage Service Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests at our award-winning venues. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Set tables according to event type and service standards to ensure a high-quality dining experience.
  • Answer questions on menu selections and provide recommendations to enhance the guest's dining experience.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Record transactions in the MICROS system at the time of order to maintain accurate records.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverage, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Complete opening & closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights to maintain a well-organized workspace.
  • Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payments efficiently.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional at all times.
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs, providing proactive solutions to enhance their experience.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a dynamic restaurant setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to multitask are necessary to deliver exceptional service.
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits is an asset, but not required.
