Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, collaborating with hiring managers and the People & Culture team, and building high-quality candidate talent pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the recruitment process from screening to onboarding, ensuring timely employment offers and streamlined onboarding processes.
  • Activate sourcing methodologies to access top candidates in the market, including talent pipelining and strategic sourcing initiatives to identify hard-to-find talent.
  • Conduct employment reference checks and manage recruitment back-end process administration through the use of HRIS systems.
  • Establish a talent pipeline by building relationships with a pool of qualified candidates for future positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, P&C partners, and other stakeholders to understand their hiring needs, expectations, and challenges.
  • Facilitate discussions with hiring managers to select candidates to progress to interview and/or offer.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on recruitment best practices to hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience and a successful hiring process.
  • Communicate hiring progress to stakeholders and participate in resource meetings to provide talent market insights.
Requirements
  • Significant recruiting and direct sourcing experience for roles at varying levels, from entry-level through to management positions.
  • Proven experience in volume hiring within a large and complex organization or recruitment agency.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and partnering skills, with confidence in interacting with senior business leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Strong candidate management skills, ensuring optimal positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Value diversity and inclusion, with the ability to attract and select candidates from a diverse set of backgrounds within competitive candidate markets.
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing skills, with proven capacity to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a changing environment.
  • Proficient in using online job boards and HRIS systems.
What We Offer
  • A hybrid role working 3-4 days in our Belconnen office.
  • A 3-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.
