We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Accounting Advisor to join our team. As a Graduate Accounting Advisor, you will support senior team members in delivering high-quality financial and commercial advisory services to our clients.
You will gain exposure to a broad range of industries, technical accounting matters, and advisory projects, while developing toward becoming a Chartered Accountant with an Approved Training Employer.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements (listed, unlisted, and private entities) in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB/IFRS).
Prepare working papers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for auditors, clients, and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the development of accounting position papers, impairment models, budgeting and forecasting, and financial models.
Support transaction readiness and due diligence engagements, including data preparation, analysis, and liaison with service providers.
Participate in business process reviews and redesign projects, assisting with documentation, testing, and implementation.
Provide commercial and margin analysis support, preparing insights for management and board reporting.
Engage in continuous learning and development, including progressing toward the CAANZ program and Artificial Intelligence.
A strong academic background in accounting with a completed Bachelor's degree.
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in small teams and directly with clients.
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced advisory environment.
Proficiency in business software and related tools.
Curiosity about AI usage and the ability to execute improvements to deliver better client product and service offerings.
Mentorship, structured development, and support for CAANZ enrolment and progression.
Reimbursement of CAANZ course programme costs upon passing each course.
Exposure to diverse industries and complex advisory projects beyond traditional compliance accounting.
