Project Design Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer project and design management plans, processes, and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for effective collaboration and approval processes.
- Oversee engineering, constructability, and design compliance aspects of projects, working closely with designers and construction teams to deliver accurate, timely, and budget-friendly designs.
- Lead project design from tender to completion, ensuring all stages are properly managed.
- Understand and communicate design compliance requirements, facilitating timely decision-making and assessment of change requests.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Chartered Engineer and RPEV Registered.
- Prior experience in contracting or design consultancy within the civil construction industry, preferably in a similar position.
- Management experience in technical teams delivering design and engineering solutions for bids and projects, including planning and budgeting.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a focus on relationship building, influencing communication, and negotiation, particularly with design partners and clients.
- Knowledge of digital engineering platforms and collaborative Construction Management software.
