Job Opportunity at Sidel

Sidel is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating equipment performance at customer plants, operating on mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, and executing mechanical and electrical work and troubleshooting.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plants, based on technical, contractual, and safety specifications.
  • Operate on mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, and troubleshoot as per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Execute mechanical and electrical work and troubleshooting, including cable wiring and mechanical adjustments.
  • Properly handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities.
  • Submit regular working time and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities.
  • Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Perform activities in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination plan rules, and customer rules.
  • Report after-sales opportunities detected on customer sites.

Your Profile

  • 3 years of working experience in related field activities.
  • Experience in the beverage industry or equivalent.
  • Consolidated technical background in Mechatronics or Electro Mechanical.
  • Knowledge of Sidel Portfolio, especially for End of Line equipment.
  • Knowledge of process machineries downstream from Sidel equipment.
  • Knowledgeable with basic PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, B&R, Schneider, Mitsubishi, SEW, Zenon).
  • Knowledgeable on pneumatics, reading electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and line layout.
  • Able to travel up to 90% in an international environment.
  • Graduate of Mechatronics Engineering, Electro Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
