At Capella Hotels and Resorts, we are on the lookout for a talented Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our discerning guests.

As a skilled Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes in line with established recipes and quality standards. You will ensure consistent, high-quality food presentation and plating across all service periods, maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation at all times.

Collaboration with the Chef de Cuisine/Executive Chef is essential for menu development and innovation, while supporting the growth of the team by training and mentoring junior kitchen colleagues. Adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations is paramount, as well as assisting with inventory control and the ordering of kitchen supplies.

Talent Profile:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a premium dining restaurant or hotel/resort kitchen is required.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations is essential.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Passion for creating innovative, delicious dishes drives our culinary team forward.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are vital for collaboration with colleagues and external partners.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Commercial Cookery) are highly desirable.
