Endpoint Engineering Team Lead

This role is part of the Endpoint Engineering team, assisting companies in supporting their environments day to day and recommending best practices to follow and implement. The team designs, builds, supports, and continuously improves end user solutions end to end, enabling our customers to transform their business and modernise their end user experience.
The Technical Operations Lead is responsible for leading a team of specialists within the Intelligent Workspace group to ensure that methodologies are executed, technical experience is leveraged, and high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained.
We have offices across Australia and New Zealand, with a flexible approach to working from home. Our goal is to bring people together when it's beneficial but also provide a balance between work and personal life.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be focused on:
- Providing technical leadership and driving a high-performance culture within the team.
- Leading automation efforts, driving improvements and efficiencies, and overseeing daily operations of the Endpoint Engineering team with minimal supervision from management.
- Validating and assisting in the maintenance of risk and issues registers.
- Ensuring that implementations and changes affecting the end-user SOE environment are properly governed, and best practice support methodologies are implemented.
- Assisting with and driving the identification and implementation of shift-left initiatives.
- Identifying improvements/project revenue opportunities within new accounts and/or contributing to the Service Improvement register for existing clients.
- Ensuring that project design principles result in service improvements, efficiencies, and cost reductions for the customer post-implementation.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A comprehensive understanding of supporting customers across an outsourced delivery environment.
- Previous operational management experience within a Managed Services Environment.
- An excellent understanding of financials surrounding profit and loss.
- Knowledge of hardware and software vendors' support processes, including product lifecycles.
- Advanced end-user management knowledge.
- Modern and traditional endpoint device management solutions (SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot, and other MDM/endpoint management solutions).
- Microsoft operating system configuration & deployment (Win10- Win11).
- Collaboration platforms (Teams for Business, Planner).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both a technical and non-technical format.
- The ability to operate under limited direction.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent delegation skills clearly outlining expectations and accountability.
- The ability to interface with all levels of management, both internal and external.
- The ability to build a cohesive team and work with large teams.
Nice to have:
- Beginner-level project management principles and/or project management.
- The ability to work with customers to conduct discovery tasks to support project engagements.
- M365 stack exposure.
- Azure Virtual Desktop experience.
- Apple OS support and project experience.
- ITIL certifications.
