Civil engineers are crucial to designing and building urban infrastructure projects. In this permanent, full-time position within our Community Development team in Hervey Bay, you will oversee the civil design and documentation of various urban infrastructure and road projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, coordinate, and manage urban and road projects
- Prepare technical reports and specifications
- Offer expert advice to clients and support projects
- Manage projects, including scheduling and budget preparation
- Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects
- Conduct site inspections and manage them
- Contribute to developing Stantec's knowledge and skills in civil engineering
- Maintain existing relationships with key clients and develop new ones
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree
- Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and project delivery, preferably in roads
- Familiarity with current civil engineering technologies
- Project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
