About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Fitter and Turner to join our high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to secure stable employment.

Duties

- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Conduct technical fabrication and assembly work
- Perform manual lathe and milling operations
- Repair and maintain equipment and machinery
- Work to relevant Australian Standards and regulations
- Assist in developing and improving company standards and procedures
- Contribute to product development projects

Requirements

- Relevant Trade Certificate or qualification
- Minimum 1 year industry experience required
- Proven working experience in machining parts using lathes and mills
- Skilled in general fabrication and repair work
- Experience in machinery maintenance, repairs, and fitting
- Ability to prioritise work tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail, quality, and safety
