Boilermaker Role

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker to join our workshop team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabrication and welding of trailers and components, as well as fitout of prefit routings for fitters to install Hydraulics, Air Systems, and Electrics.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication and welding of trailers and components, including fitout of prefit routings for fitters to install Hydraulics, Air Systems, and Electrics
  • Working autonomously as part of a team to achieve project goals
  • Conducting regular checks and tests on work performed to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in an efficient and safe operating condition
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safe work methods
  • Contributing to a clean, neat, and tidy factory environment by following procedures to keep areas organized
  • Identifying and reporting non-conformance in work and materials, as well as opportunities for improvement to the Workshop Supervisor
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong skills and experience in fabrication and welding, particularly with steel products
  • Ability to follow workshop drawings and perform testing and inspection tasks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality work
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work at heights
