About this role:

As a specialist mental health professional, you will provide clinical and case management support to clients of the prison mental health service to achieve the best possible outcomes.

This involves collaborating with relevant stakeholders within the correctional environment and non-clinical support workers in the community to develop a holistic approach to recovery and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will possess competent clinical skills in adult mental health, including assessment and treatment of acute mental health problems.

They should also be able to build rapport with customers, demonstrate empathy and respect, and work independently while consistently meeting deadlines.

Additional requirements include being vaccinated against certain diseases and having a strong commitment to quality systems and processes.

As a team member, you will be part of a rapidly evolving healthcare service in Queensland.
