We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end category management strategies across all logistics spend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and improve supplier relationships
- Leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency
- Managing large-scale procurements and negotiating contracts with suppliers
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to drive business growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in logistics or procurement with a commercial focus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive insights
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships
- Knowledge of procurement concepts and processes including strategic sourcing methodologies
