About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Anglican Care, providing high-quality care to our residents in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. As a Palliative Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, utilizing your expertise to deliver person-centered care that respects the dignity and worth of each individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care to residents with palliative care needs, utilizing your knowledge of AN-ACC and best practices in aged care.
- Lead and mentor a team of caregivers, promoting effective teamwork and communication to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and implement care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents and their families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote excellence in care delivery.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven experience in palliative care and leadership roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate and National Police Check.
