About the Role

As a mechanical designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed models and drawings of mechanical equipment. The primary objective is to ensure that designs meet industry standards, policies, and procedures. This role requires collaboration with other departments to deliver project requirements.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Producing models and detail drawings of mechanical equipment
  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency of project drawings and documents
  • Communicating effectively with engineering, project management, and workshop teams
  • Reviewing and adhering to client specifications
  • Demonstrating high standards of personal safety and safe design practices
About You

We are seeking a candidate with 5+ years' experience in mechanical equipment, piping design, and hydraulic systems. A certification in engineering drafting and/or diploma in mechanical engineering is preferred.

Strong skills in detailing, metal fabrication processes, and leadership are essential. Ability to work independently, manage workload, and deliver results is also required.
