The Department of Education is seeking a junior lawyer to advance their legal career in the Legal Division, specifically within the Negligence Litigation and Redress unit.

  • This role will involve providing high quality, timely legal advice in relation to negligence claims brought against the department. The successful candidate will assist with managing litigated and non-litigated claims, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of tort law and/or experience in negligence litigation claims, including duty of care and risk management.
