About the Opportunity:

The Research Grants Coordinator will provide research development support services to a faculty of sciences, engineering and technology. The role involves delivering pre-award research funding services, coordinating workshops and information sessions, undertaking research reporting and data collection with high accuracy and integrity.

  • Initial point of contact for enquiries and provision of support for training and development programs
  • Familiarity with higher education sector, funding of research and related structures and processes in a research-oriented field
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative, research, grant and project support services, including coordination of committees and workshops
  • Able to identify and analyse information and issues to support practical solutions and recommendations for effective client outcomes and research grant projects and programs
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to deliver client-centric results
  • Able to promote organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
