We are dedicated to delivering high-quality products and outstanding service. As we continue to grow, we seek an experienced Full-Time In-Home Product and Design Expert who can assist customers with their selection needs, provide precise measurements and offer accurate quotes.

This role is ideal for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual with a passion for carpet, flooring, shutters and blinds. You will leverage your experience to ensure that our customers receive tailored solutions for their flooring projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver exceptional customer service by guiding customers through their carpet and flooring selections, addressing their needs and offering professional advice.
- Conduct on-site measurements and provide detailed and accurate quotes based on customer requirements and project specifications.
- Utilise your in-depth knowledge of carpets and flooring to explain product features, benefits and suitability for various specifications.
- Achieve sales goals by actively engaging with customers, recommending appropriate products and upselling where applicable.
- Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring that all details are accurate and that customers are kept informed throughout the order process.
- Assist with stock management, including inventory checks and maintaining attractive product displays in the store.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a retail sales role, specifically with a focus on carpet, flooring, shutters and blinds.
- Experience in measuring and quoting for flooring projects is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships and offer tailored solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical details clearly to customers.
- Good organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and quoting software.
