Industry Trainee - Mining and Construction

We are seeking ambitious, diligent, and skilled individuals to kick-start their career in mining and construction at our leading organization.

Key Details:

  • This is a 14 days on 7 days off FIFO role from Perth or Kalgoorlie, with all required flights and accommodation funded by the company.
  • Successful applicants will undergo a paid 3-month industry introduction and assessment period.
  • The role will initially be laboring, however if successful you will be involved in robotic shaft lining, shotcreting, front end loader operation and civil construction.

You Will Learn:

  • Concrete and shotcrete batching
  • Agitator driving and delivery, above and below ground
  • Shotcrete spraying
  • Robotic shaft lining
  • Front end loader operation

Minimum Prerequisites:

  • Permanent Resident of Western Australia
  • 18+ years of age
  • A valid manual C Class driver's license
  • Willing to work underground
  • Ability to pass a medical, drug, and alcohol test
  • Ability to work 12 hour days

Desired But Not Required Qualifications:

  • A National Police Clearance (within 3 months) or willingness to obtain
  • Working at Heights Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate (within 3 years) or willingness to obtain
