Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Relief Cook/Community Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting our communities during periods of annual leave and delivering exceptional experiences for our guests and residents.

The successful candidate will have a passion for cooking and community care, with some leadership experience in hospitality or residential services. Strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as flexibility to travel and adapt across multiple locations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations and foster a welcoming community culture.
  • Prepare and serve meals that meet dietary and safety standards.
  • Support resident wellbeing through great food and great service.
  • Manage contractors, compliance, and site presentation.
  • Travel across VIC sites with allowances provided.

Responsibilities may include travel to multiple locations including Grovedale, Geelong, Warrnambool, Ballarat, Melton, and Carrum Downs.

  • Have a strong passion for food preparation and community engagement.
  • Have some leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Be able to multitask, communicate effectively, and solve problems efficiently.
  • Be flexible and willing to travel across multiple locations.
  • Have Food Safety Supervisor & First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
