Role Overview:

Our organisation is seeking an ambitious finance professional to take on a challenging role where you will directly influence commercial decision-making across Australia and New Zealand.

You will partner closely with the Marketing and Sales teams, drive accuracy in reporting, and support strategic growth initiatives in one of the world's leading FMCG businesses.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, hands-on month-end and balance sheet reconciliation experience, and solid exposure to ERP systems such as SAP. Additionally, they should have confidence in business partnering, presenting insights and building strong cross-functional relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the month-end process – from journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis to accurate reporting
  • Partner with Marketing to manage Brand Support spend and provide insights that shape campaign success
  • Collaborate with Sales on Market Development Funds (MDF), delivering clear forecasting and sharp variance analysis
  • Manage and reconcile rebates and discounts in SAP, ensuring commercial terms are met and insights are provided to stakeholders
  • Upload forecasts and budgets into Hyperion with accuracy and timeliness
  • Act as a trusted business partner, providing commentary and challenging the status quo to drive smarter decisions
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CA qualified or studying)
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on month-end and balance sheet reconciliation experience
  • Solid exposure to ERP systems (SAP highly regarded) and advanced Excel skills
  • Confidence in business partnering – able to present insights and build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Deadline-driven, organised, and thrives on making sense of complexity
