Health and Injury Management Professional

A Wellbeing Specialist will play a vital role in promoting health and wellbeing, preventing workplace injuries, and ensuring effective injury management and return-to-work processes for injured workers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead early intervention and workers' compensation processes to ensure seamless injury management.
- Empower managers and supervisors through training and coaching on injury reporting and management.
- Drive Work Health and Safety improvements and compliance with legislation by developing strategic plans.
- Collaborate with external research agencies to design and implement wellbeing initiatives.
- Analyse injury reports to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in workers' compensation and Work Health and Safety laws to maintain compliance.
- Develop and implement wellbeing and injury management initiatives that promote a positive work environment.
- Manage pre-employment medicals, workplace assessments, and other external coordination activities.
- Investigate workplace incidents to determine causes and corrective actions.
- Achieve accreditation as a NSW Advanced Return to Work Coordinator within 6 months of commencement.
- Possess a degree in Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, or Health and Rehabilitation.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in developing rehabilitation and education programs.
- Display an in-depth understanding of health and wellbeing principles.
- Exhibit strong investigative and mentoring abilities.
