The Operating Theatres require a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our dynamic perioperative environment.
We are seeking an experienced nurse who can perform comprehensive assessments, continuously monitor patients' conditions, and effectively communicate with the multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Undertake thorough and accurate nursing evaluations of patients to inform individualized care plans.
- Continuously assess and monitor patients' condition to ensure timely intervention and optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with the medical officer to address changes in patient status and implement appropriate interventions.
- Develop and implement discharge-planning strategies to ensure seamless transitions for patients.
- Plan and prioritize care to achieve expected outcomes in consultation with patients and the healthcare team.
- Demonstrated experience in a perioperative role with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
- Relevant post-registration qualification or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work proficiently during periods of high demand and activity as part of a multidisciplinary team.
