Job Description

The role of Bushfire Mitigation Officer is a critical position within our organisation, focusing on the mitigation and management of bushfires in rural, semi-rural, and urban fringe communities.

As a Bushfire Mitigation Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating mitigation strategies and education programs, managing the Fire Warden network, and overseeing the Permit to Light System across the district. You will also contribute to planning, implementing, and evaluating district-wide programs and initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to strengthen bushfire mitigation networks.
